How a date gets scored
A sample of the reasoning, so the price is not a blind box. These are the rules we apply; which days they land on in your year is the reading.
Retrograde Venus. The one span classical electional practice will not marry anyone in. It runs about forty days and does not arrive every year — when it does, it outranks everything else on the list.
Retrograde Mercury. Narrower than the internet suggests. The traditional rule is about paperwork, not doom: do not sign what you would hate to sign twice.
Eclipse windows. Three days either side. Traditional practice keeps anything meant to be permanent clear of them. We work the eclipses out ourselves rather than copying a list, then check the result against the NASA five-millennium catalogues — across 1901–2100 that is 909 catalogued eclipses, none missed, none invented.
The Moon. Increasing light is the oldest rule in the craft. A void-of-course Moon — the span after its last aspect before it changes sign — costs a day points on its own.
Your two charts. Where the day's planets land on your natal placements, and on theirs. This is the part that makes one couple's best Saturday another couple's worst, and it is the part a published list cannot do.
No date makes a marriage work. This is where the sky stands on every day you could book, honestly scored, so the venue tour is the hard part. For entertainment.
