Taurus Moon Sign: what it actually means
Your Moon is in the sign it likes best. Astrologers call it exalted. That is not the compliment you have been taking it as.
What your Moon is actually doing
Exaltation means the Moon works here at full strength, without interference. In fixed earth, under Venus, full strength means slow, warm, physical and almost impossible to move. Your emotional set point is comfort, and you defend it the way other people defend an opinion.
You do not process feelings. You outlast them. Something happens, you register it, and then you carry it at walking pace for as long as it takes — months, sometimes years — until it wears smooth. It does work. It is simply the slowest method available.
This is why people describe you as calm while your jaw has been locked since March.
How a Taurus Moon shows up
- Your response to distress is physical first: eat, sleep, clean sheets, buy something soft. It is not avoidance. It is how your nervous system reboots.
- You will stay eleven months past the point of knowing.
- You forgive slowly and completely, or not at all. There is no third setting.
- You need to be able to touch what you are being promised. Words alone read as noise to you.
- Somebody once mistook your patience for permission, and it took you two years to say so.
Your patience is often just avoidance in better clothes. You did not decide to stay. You declined to decide — repeatedly, quietly, for months — until staying became the decision by default. Then you called the outcome loyalty.
What to do about it
Stop waiting for a feeling to tell you it is time. It will not arrive. Taurus Moons do not get a signal; they get erosion.
Use a date instead. Write it down: if this has not changed by the fourth of next month, I go. On paper, in your own handwriting, somewhere you will see it. You keep promises to paper that you will not keep to yourself.
And spend the money on the good mattress. That is not indulgence for you, it is maintenance.
Your Moon sign is one placement. MOON reads all ten, plus the aspects between them, and tells you what they do together. The free chart takes about three seconds.

- Why is the Moon exalted in Taurus?
- Because the Moon's job is to hold, feed and steady — and Taurus is the sign that does all three without effort. Exaltation means the placement is unobstructed, not that the person is happy. A very stable person can be very stably stuck.
- Is a Taurus Moon stubborn?
- Yes, but not in the way it looks. You are not defending the position. You are defending the enormous cost of moving. Show a Taurus Moon that the move is cheaper than the stay and the stubbornness disappears immediately.
- What does a Taurus Moon need in a relationship?
- Consistency and physical presence. Not intensity. A Taurus Moon would trade a dramatic year for a predictable decade and never look back.
